Nicole at Chebucto Head

Digital infrared original
I’d worked in this location seven years earlier, during Miranda‘s first session, but I had never felt that I’d made the most of this particular space, so when planning this session with Nicole (the second part of her first session), it came to mind. This time, I know I did the best I could with the location, and was much happier with the results.

Nicole's first session was dominated by portraits, and this continued through the second session of the day, though the setting was a little more natural.

The contrast of skin against stone has always fascinated me, and ever since I started working with digital cameras, and been able to easily work with colour, the attraction of working with models against, upon, and surrounded by stone has only grown.
