Another graveyard, this time in the newer part of Edinburgh, yieded this absolutely haunting cherub angel…haunting or creepy, I suppose.

I am such a sucker for symmetry and formal compositions, when I see something like this door knocker in Edinburgh, Scotland. The only thing that makes me sad was that it was discovered while on a “walk-about”, so I didn’t have a tripod or other lenses with me…would have loved to have made a stitch of this with a long lens, so it could be printed HUGE!
